LEO seeks to help St. Mary's Community Action Agency and Head Start Program with the problems of finding permanent housing for the families displaced to the Franklin, Louisiana area. Beginning September 19, LEO will be collecting donations in the form of money and personal items for the evacuees.
Donation will be accepted in the lobby of the LEO building at 156 Broad Street, Lynn from Monday September 19th at 9:00 AM until Sunday September 30th. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, and from 10:00 AM through 4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday.
LEO pledges that 100% of all funds collected and items donated will be sent to St. Mary's Community Action Agency for the purpose of emergency relief efforts.
St. Mary's Executive Director Almetra J. Franklin has sent out an urgent request for the following items:

Pre-paid gas cards
Pre-paid telephone cards
New or clean towels, sheets, pillows, blankets
